#20190604 - 3rd year BSc Nursing college student from Chennai

With our little support, she successfully completed her 2nd year BSc nursing. The college also gave good feedback about her studies, she also got scholarship from the government.

For 3rd year, she has requested us Rs30000 and we approve for it, after our normal review process.

She is pursuing her 1st year BSc nursing in Chennai. Her father is working as a painter and earning very little to run this family.

This family of 3 were staying in a rented hut, where there is no toilet/water facility.  Her mother works as a part-time cook in nearby houses to support her girls education.

By loaning and through others help they paid around 48K for the first year fee. College is now forcing them to pay the remaining fee asap.

They were also seriously affected by the flood happened last year. Our In-person reviewer found that they live in a very poor and bad environment, where we believe only giving good education will bring them up from poverty.

An interesting fact on Causes 20161103 & 20161104: Both this family were living next to each other and they do live like a joined family, taking care of each other’s children like their own. Although there is no factor connecting them other than friendship & neighbor.

Both of their fathers are working together when they received help from others for their daughter education, they divided accurately and paid for both the girls.
